Privacy Policy

Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This document describes our privacy practices and your choices regarding the use, access and correction of personal data.

Our services

Hitflow provides services to monitor and analyze the performance of servers and websites connected to the Internet. These services are intended for web application and server owners, whether they are professionals or individuals.

Customer data

During the use of our services, users are required to complete forms to collect data that is stored on our servers.

All this information is "customer data" that belongs to and is under the control of our customers.

These data include, but are not limited to:

Payment data

When paying for an order, we redirect the user to the service provider of his choice to make the payment. As a result, we do not have access to or record the bank details or identifiers of the PayPal account used to finalize an order at any time.

Anonymous data

In order to improve our services, we may collect anonymous data. This data can no longer be linked to a customer and is processed to generate statistics on the use of our services.

The use of its statistics allows us to determine whether our services meet current market expectations and trends.

We may share this statistical data with third parties for analysis or marketing purposes.

Disclosure of data

In the course of performing our services, we may handle your personal data. Below you will find an overview of the different situations in which we use or share information.

If you would like more information, we invite you to contact us with any questions you may have.

Please note that we reserve the right to share any information that cannot be considered personal data or that is not subject to contractual restrictions.

Employees and contractors

Our employees or contractors may have access to certain personal data about you to help you use our services.

Web hosting

Our websites and services are installed with partners specialized in hosting. Our main database is installed on servers located within the European Union. Our partner's employees can have access to our data, for example (not limited) in the case of maintenance on a server.

Information transfers to our partners

We limit the sending of your data outside our servers.

However, our solution requires the presence of probes on all continents where personal data protection rules may vary. When our robots use these probes, the data allowing connection to your servers is therefore transferred outside the EU.

To send an alert, we send certain information to the providers providing the communication service you have configured in advance.

Protection of society

We may disclose personal data when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect Hitflow. If we believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of death or serious injury, we may disclose emergency information without delay.

Transfer of business

In the event of a cessation of business, bankruptcy, merger, sale of the company's assets or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company, the database and all personal data would likely be part of the assets transferred or acquired by a third party.

If any of the foregoing events occur, this Privacy Policy shall continue to apply and the party receiving your information shall continue to use your personal data in accordance with these rules.

Legal requirements and national security

In accordance with our legal obligations, we may provide customer data to public authorities for law enforcement purposes subject to a legal request such as a court order.

Security

To ensure the integrity and protection of your personal data against unauthorized access, theft of information, unauthorized modification or destruction, but also accidental loss, we implement a number of technical processes. These processes include regularly updating our systems, restricting access to internal services and using state-of-the-art authentication and encryption tools.

However, since no IT environment is completely infallible, you acknowledge that Hitflow's efforts to keep your data secure may be compromised. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintentional access or alteration beyond our control of your data.

Retention of your personal data

We have developed our tools to store your data only for the sole purpose of providing you with the service that led you to use our solution.

Your data is stored on servers hosted within the European Union and is only accessible to persons authorized to work on these servers. After a period of 1 year, all data useful to monitor your services are automatically deleted.

We also respect the legal constraints of French law in terms of data retention.

In addition, there may be occasions when a legal or governmental authority authorized to exercise a data retention request requires us to retain your personal data for as long as necessary.

In this case, we may retain your personal data for a longer period corresponding to a limitation period in order to be able to provide details of your transactions with us in the event of claims or disputes.

Backup and recovery policies

Backups are made daily so that the databases can be restored if necessary. These backups are stored on secure servers with restricted access. In the event that we are forced to restore data, only persons authorized to perform these operations may be required to manipulate the data associated with your user account.

Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your user account and all associates at any time. This procedure can be done from the user account (profile section) and is accompanied by a validation by email. Once the deletion request is confirmed, the account becomes inaccessible and the information is deleted within 30 days.

Partners

Below is a list of our partners and a brief description of their involvement in the delivery of our services.
